Together with Xuanhua Iron And Steel and Chengde Iron And Steel, three steel producers formed Tangshan Iron And Steel Group Co. Ltd. Its rank issued by China enterprises association recently, rises to the position of 26th among China’s Top 500 enterprises, 15th in Top 500 Manufacturer, 4th in the black metallurgical industry.
We fulfills scientific developments, and is always trying to cut the cost of production to maintain the profits and keeps the production stable in the competitive market. In 2005, the production of hot-metal and cold-metal was 14.66 million tons, cradle steel 16.08 million tons, strip products 14.82 million tons, which in turn take the ratio of 4.4、4.6% and 4 in Chinese total production. It has almost 1/3 of V-Titanium production in the whole country. We focuses on the ability of innovation and initiated several comprehensive Vanadium technologies, including: BF V-Ti iron-making, Converter V-extraction technology, V2O5 extraction from residue, V-Ti ribbon bar rolling, V-micro alloy and continuous casting and rolling. Our factory TISCO optimized the wire technology, and developed a series of high technology products (steel, wire、bar、chain, realized pulverized coal-injection 、hot-iron pre-treating、refining slab hot charge and transfer、minus-tolerance、ribbon-bar rolling, recycled gas, steam, waste water and slag.
